I'll make a more formal announcement about the launch when that time comes, but these first baby steps into self promotion are about all I handle at the moment. I've never been one to say, "Hey, look what I did!" I've always been a keep your head down and work hard and good things will come kind of guy. Even posting things here becomes a whirlwind of self doubt, second thoughts, and overall disagreement with the whole concept. I'm positive most artist feel this way. It's a cruel trick the art gods have played on us. "So you're quiet, insecure, and uncomfortable about your work? Cool, you're in charge of promotions. Also, we see you feel your art is worthless, so we'll make art supplies ungodly expensive to compensate. Huzzah!" It's a recipe for most successful businesses😀 So anyway, I'm going to try to do this and feel real wierd about it the whole time. Getting back into my studio after 2 weeks of being isolated at home. I can get from my house to it without running into anybody so I'm still safe and alone. It's hard to sit still and concentrate, but it feels good being back in my little hole. This is an alla prima I busted out fast and bold. Not the most creative, but it felt good regardless.
